Alumni

Since our founding in 1888, ATO has had the best alumni interactions on campus. Here at Georgia Tech we have a rich history of tradition and it is very apparent at ATO. It is this tradition that helps us to become the chapter that we are today and in the future as we enter into the professional world. Visit our blueprints page for scanned copies of the Alpha Tau Omega spread in the Gergia Tech yearbook.

With the help of an ATO run magazine, the Glazebrook Gazette, and our own alumni webpage (www.atogatech.org), we keep all of our alumni up to date with our house, our events, and our philanthropy. We also run alumni activities throughout the year that keep our alumni involved with the brothers in the house. These activities include alumni golf tournaments, poker tournaments, alumni/faculty dinners, and more.

With these programs, we have had some very successful and well-known alumni come through ATO during our years of existence. This includes sports figures Lee Corso, Steve Spurrier, and Jim Tressel; actor Greg Kinnear; writer Tennessee Williams; and former Vice Presidential candidate Jack Kemp. In fact, Georgia Tech ATO has also had some influential members, such as the Vice President of Waffle House Corporation John Robertson (we started Waffle House in our basement); Internet Security Systems co-founder Tom Noonan; and prominent GT Alum Eugene M. Cleary.

Alumni will always be a big part of the ATO tradition and we hope to continue to our successes with future endeavors. For questions or comments please contact President Abhi Sharma at abhisharma2@gmail.com or Alumni Chair Otis Roberts at jewellotisrobertsiii@gmail.com.
